St Joseph's is currently accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation
Facilities (CARF).
Licensed to provide inpatient and outpatient alcoholism and substance
abuse treatment by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance
Abuse Services (OASAS).
Associated with the New York State Association of Alcoholism and
Substance Abuse Providers (NYSAASAP); the New York State Association of
Alcoholism Recovery Homes; the Association of Halfway House Alcoholism
Programs, Inc.; the Catholic Health Association (CHA); and the National
Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP)
MISSION STATEMENT:
Our mission, as a ministry of the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement, is to serve God, by promoting healing and recovery for all persons who suffer from the disease of alcoholism and chemical dependency.
Specifically we do this through:
1. Our belief in the spiritual nature, inherent dignity and worth of each person;
2. Our commitment to providing effective, professional and quality treatment for those who suffer the effects of alcoholism and chemical dependency;
3. Our commitment to a team approach to treatment for the well being of our clients;
4. Our prudent use of resources to provide treatment and advocacy for those who lack necessary resources.
